Knebworth House and Gardens, Herts

19 May 2010
Friends Only

Home of the Lytton family since 1490, we learn about how Knebworth House was transformed from a red-brick Tudor manor house into the romantic Gothic fantasy we see today, complete with turrets, griffins and gargoyles. On our private tour, we visit the state rooms, including the Banqueting Hall, Library and Oval Ante-Room. We also tour the magnificent gardens designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens PRA in 1908.

10.45am–6.45pm; £65 (includes coach, set lunch/wine, tea)
