Kelmscott House

2 February 2010

Opening exclusively for Friends, Kelmscott House was the London home of William Morris from 1878 until his death in 1896. Kelmscott is now a private home, and we explore the basement and coach house of this Georgian mansion, which serves as headquarters of the William Morris Society. It contains a range of Arts and Crafts treasures including textiles, wallpapers, stained glass, furniture, Pre-Raphaelite drawings and Morris’s original press, which is the only Kelmscott press left in England.

10.30am–12pm or 2–3.30pm, specify preferred time; W6, directions on ticket; SOLD OUT
