Goldsmiths Hall

10 January 2011

The Goldsmiths’ Company is one of the twelve Great Livery Companies and has been responsible for hallmarking since the 1300s. The present hall was designed by Philip Hardwick in the 1830s and is the third on the site. During our private tour we visit the principle rooms with their richly decorated moulded ceilings, portraits, silver and Le Clerc tapestries.
