‘Futurism 100!’ Evening talk and private view

2009 marks the centenary of the publication of F. T. Marinetti’s Futurist Manifesto. Friends are invited for a private reception and talk by Roberta Cremoncini, Director of the Estorick Collection, on the significance of the Futurist movement, as well as an introduction to the Estorick Collection, one of the finest collections of twentieth-century Italian art in the world.

The evening also offers a private view of two special exhibitions exploring Futurism: ‘Unique Forms: The Drawing and Sculpture of Umberto Boccioni’ and ‘Velocity Zero’ by contemporary artist Luca Buvoli.
