Fishmongers’ Hall

Friends Only

15 April 2013

With a history spanning 700 years, the Fishmongers’ Company is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies. The current hall, built in 1835, is a rare example of a free-standing and largely unaltered English Greek-revival town-building. Friends see its seventeenth-century silver plate, as well as key works by Romney and Scott.
