Eton College, Berks

10 March 2010

Eton was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, and we privately tour its historic buildings including the Upper School, Election Hall and Chamber, cloisters and College Hall. We also visit the magnificent chapel, which is a fine example of Perpendicular Gothic architecture, and learn about its medieval wall paintings. Our tour concludes with a visit to the Museum of Eton Life, which contains over 400 exhibits illustrating the school’s 500-year history.
