Friends Only

13 March 2013

Founded as an abbey by St Etheldreda and established as a cathedral in 1109, the present building is a remarkable example of Romanesque architecture. Our tour includes the fourteenth- century Lady Chapel, Norman stonework, sculptures and memorials. We also visit the Stained Glass Museum and explore its magnificent collection, which dates from the thirteenth century.
