Home to the Proby family since 1660, Elton Hall is a fascinating mixture of architectural styles. Our private tour includes the medieval chapel, eighteenth-century drawing room and nineteenth-century dining room designed by Henry Ashton. We also see magnificent furniture, old master and Pre-Raphaelite paintings as well as family portraits by Reynolds, Hoppner and Romney. The library is one of the finest in private hands and includes Henry VIII’s Prayer Book.
