Built in 1460 by Sir John Cheyne, Chenis Manor is now the Macleod Matthews family home. Both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I were entertained at the house, which includes unusual architectural features, such as a medieval undercroft and reputed priest hole. We also explore the gardens, which include a sunken garden and two mazes.
