Chelmsford Cathedral, Essex

Friends Only

1 December 2011

Dating back to medieval times, Chelmsford Cathedral was established as a parish church in the fifteenth century before becoming a cathedral in 1914. By special arrangement, Reverend Peter Judd, Dean of the Cathedral, leads our tour where we learn about its stunning architecture and specially commissioned works of art. While Chelmsford Cathedral is one of the smallest in the country, it was granted Grade I listing this year, due to its unique features.
