Chartwell, Kent

17 March 2010

Bought by Sir Winston Churchill for its magnificent views over the Weald of Kent to Sussex, Chartwell was his home and the place from which he drew artistic inspiration from 1924 until his death in 1965. On our private tour, we gain an insight into Churchill and see his original furniture, books and medals of honour. We also explore the spectacular terraced hillside gardens and studio where many of Churchill’s works are on display.
