Buscot Park

5 July 2010

This late eighteenth-century house is home to The Faringdon Collection of fine paintings, furniture and objets d’art. We are most grateful to Lord and Lady Faringdon for our private tour where we see paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck as well as Burne-Jones’s
Legend of the Briar Rose painting cycle. Friends also visit the spectacular water garden, designed by Harold Peto, and the Four Seasons Walled Garden. Following lunch at Buscot Park, we visit the countryhome of the late fashion designer Sir Hardy Amies and see examples of his
needlework.

SOLD OUT 9am–7pm; (incl. coach, coffee, lunch/wine & tea)
