BBC Television Studios

22 March 2010

Designed by architect Graham Dawbarn, BBC Television Centre opened in June 1960 as one of the world’s first buildings specifically created for the production and transmission of TV programmes. On our tour, we learn about the history and architecture of the building, including T. B. Huxley-Jones’s statue of Helios. The tour also includes a view into one of the main studios, a visit to BBC News and a chance to experience the interactive studio.

10.30am–12.30pm; BBC Television Centre, Wood Lane, W12; SOLD OUT
