In 1932, Architectural Review named Broadcasting House ‘the new Tower of London’, referring to its immediate and surprising impact on the London landscape. Designed by George Val Myer, it was the UK’s first purpose-built broadcasting centre. Friends tour this iconic Art-Deco building with a chance to see the radio studios and council chamber newly restored in the renovations that are creating a new home for BBC News.
