Chairman of the BADA Fair Jonathan Coulborn treats Friends to a private talk on the variety of decoration found on Georgian furniture. We examine various items of furniture being exhibited by leading antique dealers at the fair and learn about the exotic wood inlays, carefully chosen veneers, japanning, lacquering and metal ornament and inlay used by the cabinet makers and craftspeople of the Georgian period.
