Built for the Earl of Ashburnham in the 1660s by William Samwell and now part of Westminster School, Ashburnham House boasts one of the finest Grand Staircases of its period. We explore the building’s unique features with the School’s archivist, including the fireplace from 1599 and a fine Restoration ceiling.
