Our walking tour with Janine Catalano from the Courtauld Institute of Art highlights two great landmarks on the South Bank: Borough Market and Tate Modern. At Borough Market we explore the tremendous variety of food, while paying close attention to the artistry of the cuisine and aesthetics of display. Tate Modern then presents us with an entirely different medium and the Tate’s many paintings of food allow us to consider similar issues of presentation and consumption.
