Althorp has been the ancestral home of the Spencer Family for over 500 years and boasts one of the finest private collections of furniture, pictures and ceramics in Europe. On our special private tour we see the building’s spectacular interiors, including some of the Spencer family’s private apartments. Friends can then enjoy Althorp’s beautifully remodelled gardens and take in the peaceful surroundings of the Round Oval, the final resting place of Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales. A special afternoon tea is served in the State Dining Room using Spencer Family china. Whilst taking tea, guests are entertained by a pianist. Guests also receive a complimentary guide book as a souvenir of this special day.
