Rubens and His Legacy
Award-winning and best-selling novelist Sebastian Faulks CBE reads a short story selected in response to ‘Rubens and His Legacy: Van Dyck to Cézanne’.
The RA and Pin Drop welcomes the award-winning and best-selling novelist Sebastian Faulks CBE for an exciting literary evening. Faulks, whose books have been adapted for film, TV and stage, will read a short story selected by him in response to the art and themes presented in the RA’s landmark exhibition 'Rubens and His Legacy: Van Dyck to Cézanne'.
Faulks, who is best known for his critically-acclaimed novels Birdsong (1993), Charlotte Gray (1999) and Human Traces (2005), will conclude the evening with a Q&A.
A drinks reception follows this event and ticket holders are entitled to one complimentary drink.
