Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Arts

A rare opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Executive Assistant to act as a trusted aide to the Chief Executive and provide full administrative support to ensure the smooth running of his office.
The successful candidate will be able to swiftly extract key information from a wealth of documentation to ensure the Chief Executive is well briefed ahead of key meetings. They will ideally hold a degree in Business Studies or History of Art or similar. They must possess first class written skills to draft documents and prepare briefing notes.
Polished and professional, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with the wide range of people and organisations that contact the Chief Executive. Friendly and welcoming, they will act as the first point of contact for all enquiries to the Chief Executive.
The role will include complex diary management and travel arrangements, meeting logistics, preparation of agendas, formal and extensive minute taking, drafting papers and responses along with routine filing and record keeping.
They must have operated at board level previously and treat all matters with absolute confidentiality and integrity.
Supremely well organised, they will be able to work at pace, unsupervised and use their initiative. Highly IT literate, a fast and accurate typist with first class drafting skills, they must have excellent attention to detail.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest and knowledge of the visual arts and a commitment to the vision of the Royal Academy of Arts.
