The RA is in a period of significant transformation. As we approach our 250th anniversary in 2018, major investments are being made in our physical infrastructure, our public programme and our engagement with a range of audiences.
The RA seeks an experienced finance professional to lead the finance function, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
With a minimum of 10 years’ PQE in a similar role, the successful candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills along with robust financial planning, modelling and systems capabilities. A sound knowledge of tax law is preferred along with proven ability to drive finance strategy to deliver best in class reporting and working practices. Experience of leading finance system implementation projects is also critical.
An effective people manager and strong team player, they will be able to demonstrate first class interpersonal skills to get the best performance from their team. They will have recent experience of leading a large department through change. Diplomatic, persuasive, rigorous and assertive, they will be a confident decision maker.
