The Development Department plays a vital role in the success and growth of the Royal Academy of Arts as a dynamic and independent institution. We are now looking for a talented and experienced Database Assistant to join the team and help realise the ambitions of this world renowned institution.
With the guidance of the Database Manager, the successful candidate will take day-to-day responsibility for the operational needs and optimal use of the departmental membership and fundraising database – Raiser’s Edge – specific knowledge would be an advantage, but training will be available. The work includes writing queries, producing reports, data extracts and data cleaning, as well as providing a helpdesk service and training for the department.
A sound understanding of membership databases is preferred, along with experience gained in a fundraising context. First class accuracy and close attention to detail is paramount as are good interpersonal and communication skills.
