People are familiar with sculpture, whether seen in museums or public spaces, but few have any idea of what is involved in the production of sculpture in bronze, known as the 'lost wax' process. This film demonstrates the process in detail, following the production of one artist's work from its creation to completion.
The work by Bill Woodrow was made in the AB Fine Art Foundry whose clients include Anish Kapoor, The Chapman Brothers, William Turnbull and Christopher Le Brun amongst other world famous sculptors.
