Content Description
Asking Middleton Todd if he could provide one or two small paintings for an exhibition at the Leicester Galleries in January in aid of authors. The show was to be a 50/50 arrangement as far as sales were concerned. Guthrie and the chairman wanted to bar fancy abstracts: Middleton Todd was exactly the sort of artist they wanted.
