Critic's Choice: London's Most Important Building
Series 2
As part of the Royal Academy’s ongoing commitment to enriching the debate about architecture for the profession and particularly for the general public, we are launching a second series of Critic's Choice: London’s Most Important Building.
The series aims to provoke discussion and engagement with architecture, encouraging us all to consider a building’s quality, relevance, and contribution to the city. As one of the most exciting cities in the world, London provides a wealth of material and inspiration. Each critic will interpret the brief as widely as they desire, making their selection for architectural, cultural, political or personal reasons. In the spirit of the RA Architecture Programme which encourages debate across disciplines, all the critics are from outside of the architectural profession, speaking instead as writers, film-makers or artists.
