Walking Palladian London

Explore Palladian London on two self-guided walking tours starting from Burlington House, home of the Royal Academy, and discover some of the city's architectural gems.

The North Walk delves into eighteenth-century Mayfair to discover how Palladio's architecture was interpreted to provide the basis of the Georgian townhouse.

The South Walk heads towards St James's and Whitehall and encompasses some of the most prestigious public buildings of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries such as the Banqueting House and the Queen's Chapel.
