Senior and Honorary Academicians

Senior Academicians
After the age of 75, RAs are promoted to the Senior Order of Academicians. They retain their full voting rights, but are no longer eligible to serve as Officers or on the Academy’s Committees. The promotion of RAs to the position of Senior Academician creates vacancies for the election of new Academicians. Currently, there are around 40 Senior RAs.
